IB Work week London 2007

During a wonderful week in May 15 students and 2 teachers enjoyed the sites of London. It all started with an early morning bus ride to Schiphol to catch a train to Brussels. From there we took the Eurostar straight into Waterloo Station. Some of the major events were tours of the BBC TV studios and War rooms, a visit to a University and a workshop and play at the Globe. We enjoyed great weather and walked all over town. In between the events there was also time to look around (the Eye, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Parks and The River) and go shopping.

During our visit we stayed with host families in the South of London near Wimbledon. This was a learning experience in everything from food to clothing to habits. Traveling around the city by Tube gave us the opportunity to rest our weary feet from all the walking we did.
